When working with founders, he draws from a broad experience, leaning on his time as a corporate lawyer at Slaughter and May, his investment experience at Luminous Ventures, his angel investments and his career across Europe, Africa and Asia. He is also co-founder of ALLOCATE, an event and community geared around helping the venture ecosystem for emerging venture managers in Europe. He is a graduate of the University of Cambridge.

Rodrigo Mallo

Sneakerhead, hip hop enthusiast and recovering founder of four companies. One hit and three failures. Rodrigo is an outsider that invested in over fifty companies at the intersection of biology and engineering during his time as a Partner at IndieBio/SOSV. He believes that the best thing a venture investor can do for a company is give them money and get out of their way. Rodrigo holds executive education qualifications in venture capital from UC Berkeley and is a Kauffman Fellow.
